MACHANAIM - JEWISH HERITAGE CENTER FOR RUSSIAN SPEAKING JEWS
Machanaim recently initiated a new program for building bridges between religious and non-religious Jews. A dialogue group meets every week to air issues between these two groups. These meetings are attended by well-known Russian-speaking journalists, as well as the general Russian-speaking public. The discussions focus primarily on issues of Jewish philosophy, Jewish law, and problems in Israeli society. Such discussions contribute significantly to building mutual understanding among different groups in modern Israeli society. The meetings are occasionally attended by public figures, Knesset members, and well-known writers.
Minutes of these meetings are transcribed on the Russian-language part of this site.
